This robust and aromatic blend is made by roasting sun dried moor milagai and urad dhal, then grinding it to a fine coarse creating a spicy and deeply savoury powder. It is traditionally enjoyed mixed with hot, steamed rice and a generous spoonful of ghee or sesame oil. It also serves as a fantastic, zesty dip for idli and dosa, or as a potent seasoning to add a peppery kick to your stir-fried vegetables.
